01Getting Started

Getting Started.

How do I join the beta?+

On Android, install directly from Google Play. On iOS, drop your email on the beta page and we'll send you the TestFlight link when iOS beta opens.

Is Rackd available on the web?+

No. Rackd is a mobile app. The website you're on now is just for information, signup, and eventually account management. The workout tracking itself happens in the app.

Which phones does it work on?+

Android phones running Android 8 or later. iPhones running iOS 15.1 or later. iPad and tablets work but are not yet optimized for larger screens.

02Pricing & Billing

Pricing & Billing.

Do I need a subscription?+

No. The whole point of Rackd is that you don't need one. Buy once, keep forever. A subscription option exists if you prefer monthly — it's not the pitch, it's an option.

What does it cost after the beta?+

Beta is free. After beta, the one-time purchases are Full Rack ($49.99), Power Rack ($29.99), Cloud Sync ($14.99), or the Super Rack bundle ($69.99 — saves $25.98 vs buying separately). The optional subscription is $5.99/month or $49.99/year.

If I buy one-time, do I pay again for updates?+

No. Bug fixes and improvements are free forever. If we build something genuinely new a couple years from now, that might be a paid add-on pack. Your existing features keep working regardless.

Can I get a refund?+

Refunds go through Apple or Google's standard refund channels. Email us at support@rackd.fitness if something's gone wrong and we'll try to help.

03Programs & Training

Programs & Training.

What programs are built in?+

15 programs: 5/3/1, 5x5, PPL, Upper/Lower, Beginner Body Builder, Bro Split, HIT, plus dumbbell-only, kettlebell, and bodyweight programs. See the Programs page for the full list.

Can I build my own program?+

Yes. Custom program builder with week-by-week control. You define the exercises, set and rep schemes, and progression rules.

Can I import a program from somewhere else?+

Yes. Rackd imports JSON program definitions. We support both a simple schema and a full advanced schema for complex periodization.

What's a training max?+

The weight the program uses to calculate your working sets. Typically 85-90% of your 1RM. Rackd asks for it when you start a program and uses it for all percentage-based loading.

What's RPE?+

Rate of Perceived Exertion — a 1-10 scale of how hard a set felt. Rackd supports RPE tracking per set and has an RPE-based progression system for auto-regulated programs.

04Your Data

Your Data.

Where does my workout data live?+

On your device. Rackd is local-first. If you delete the app, your data is gone unless you've enabled Cloud Sync.

Do you sell my data?+

No. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers. Ever. See the Privacy Policy for specifics.

Can I export my data?+

Yes. Full export to JSON from the app's backup screen. Your data, your copy, at any time.

What's Cloud Sync?+

An optional paid add-on that syncs your workout data across up to 3 of your devices and keeps a cloud backup. Disabled by default. You can turn it on and off any time.

05Beta Specifics

Beta Specifics.

How stable is the beta?+

Stable enough to log real workouts. Bugs happen. If something breaks, email support@rackd.fitness. We usually ship fixes within days.

Will beta progress carry to v1.0?+

Yes. Your workout data, custom programs, and PRs carry forward. Beta users also get a 50% discount on the Super Rack bundle when v1.0 launches.

Can I give feedback?+

Please do. Email support@rackd.fitness with bugs, feature requests, complaints, or anything else. We read every reply.
