Terms of Service

These are the terms you agree to when you use Rackd. We tried to make them readable. If something is unclear, email us at support@rackd.fitness and we'll explain it.

1. Who You're Agreeing With

Rackd is operated by Fadhel Enterprises Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), an Ontario-based corporation. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you") and Fadhel Enterprises Inc.

By installing the Rackd mobile app or using the rackd.fitness website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What Rackd Is

Rackd is a workout tracking app for strength athletes. It helps you follow structured training programs, log your lifts, and see your progress over time.

The Service includes:

• The Rackd mobile app (iOS and Android)
• The rackd.fitness website (account management, the AI Program Builder, and purchases)
• Any related services we provide from time to time

The Service does not include the training programs themselves. You are responsible for choosing and following a program that's appropriate for you (see Section 10: Fitness and Health Disclaimer).

3. Tiers, Trial, and Free Use

Rackd has two tiers:

• Half Rack (free). The free tier. No nag screens or upgrade prompts block your workouts. You can log lifts, browse all 448 built-in exercises, follow any of the built-in training programs, generate AI training programs with the AI Program Builder at no cost, and view 12 weeks of analytics history.
• Power Rack (one-time purchase; the price and applicable channel are shown in the store or checkout for your platform or account). Rackd's only upgrade. It unlocks the features identified in the current app or checkout and includes one AI-generated program unlock at no extra charge (see Section 6). Power Rack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Power Rack will be available through the store or checkout presented for your platform or account. The payment provider or store shown in that channel handles the transaction and its payment terms. After the applicable store or checkout confirms the purchase, Rackd grants or recognizes the account entitlement under the current store, checkout, and account systems. Store and web mechanics may differ, and the applicable channel controls availability, price, purchase, refund, and entitlement details.

Trials and previews

Any trial, preview, grace period, or other temporary access is controlled by the current release and account state. If offered, the app or checkout will show the applicable terms before access begins. A trial or preview does not create a recurring charge.

4. Your Account

You can use the Rackd mobile app without an account. Your workout data lives on your device.

To enable Cloud Sync or to restore purchases on a new device, you can create an account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. When you do:

• You're responsible for keeping your password secure
• You're responsible for activity under your account
• You must provide accurate information
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction)
• One account per person. No sharing, no selling.

If we have reason to believe your account has been compromised, we may suspend access until we can verify it's yours.

Cloud Sync

Cloud Sync is optional. Its availability, feature scope, and device limits depend on the current release and account state, and the applicable app or account surface will show whether it is enabled. Local training does not require Cloud Sync.

24-Hour Account Deletion Cooling-Off

When you request account deletion from Settings, we begin a 24-hour cooling-off window before any data is removed. During the window your account is marked for deletion but remains accessible, and you can cancel the deletion at any time from the same screen. After 24 hours, deletion executes automatically the next time the app reaches the deletion service. Local-only data on devices you own is not affected by account deletion. To remove local data, uninstall the app.

5. Your Workout Data

Your workout data is yours. You own what you put into Rackd.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your workout data only to the extent needed to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of it, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in the Privacy Policy. AI Program Builder conversations and generated programs may be used for product improvement as described in the Privacy Policy and the separate AI Program Builder Terms.

Local-first means: the primary copy of your workout data lives on your device. If you delete the app, your local data is gone. If you've enabled Cloud Sync, a synced copy exists on our servers and you can delete that copy from your account.

Custom and AI-generated programs: programs you create yourself or generate with the AI Program Builder are yours. Once generated, they persist in your My Rack regardless of whether your trial expires or your tier changes. Whether a generated program stays fully unlocked also depends on whether you've purchased it (see Section 6). We do not republish your programs without your permission. (For the AI Program Builder specifically, see the separate AI Program Builder Terms.)

6. Acceptable Use

Use Rackd for its intended purpose. Don't:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except to the extent the law permits despite this restriction
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical protections, including tier gating, device limits, or trial enforcement
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service without our agreement
• Use the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure (such as automated rapid-fire API calls)
• Fabricate, spoof, or otherwise tamper with purchase receipts (in-app or web) to claim tiers, program ownership, or other paid features

If you violate these rules, we can suspend or terminate your access without notice.

AI Program Generation and Program Ownership

Generating a training program with the AI Program Builder is free.

Owning a program you generate — so it is saved to your account, stays available, and syncs where those capabilities are enabled — is a separate one-time purchase if offered. The applicable checkout shows the price and purchase terms for your account. The payment provider shown at that checkout handles the transaction; after checkout confirms the purchase, Rackd records the resulting account entitlement. Store and web mechanics may differ, and the channel-specific terms and refund rules shown at purchase apply.

If you buy Power Rack, you also receive one program unlock at no extra charge, recorded to your account after the purchase is confirmed (see Section 3). That grant is a one-time benefit tied to the Power Rack purchase.

If a program unlock or Power Rack entitlement is obtained through fabricated receipts, validation-flow abuse, or any other manipulation, we revoke it. Repeat or large-scale abuse means the account goes too.

7. Our Intellectual Property

The Rackd name, logo, app, website, design, source code, and the curated training programs we ship with the app (5/3/1 implementation, 5x5 Strength, PPL, Upper/Lower, and the others) are owned by Fadhel Enterprises Inc. or our licensors.

You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as described in these Terms. That's it. No other rights are granted.

Traditional strength training program structures themselves (like the 5/3/1 method itself, or standard 5x5 progression) are not our IP. We implement them. The names of their creators (like Jim Wendler for 5/3/1) are their own trademarks. We do not claim ownership over their methodologies.

8. Purchases

One-Time Purchases

Power Rack is a one-time purchase. Once the applicable store or checkout confirms the purchase, the account entitlement is recorded under the current store, checkout, and account systems. Availability, price, restore, and refund details are shown by the applicable channel.

Power Rack may be offered through an in-app store or web checkout, depending on your platform and account. The payment provider or store shown in that channel handles the transaction. If the current account systems recognize an existing Power Rack entitlement, Rackd will not charge you twice for the same entitlement. A generated-program ownership purchase, if offered, is presented through the checkout shown for your account and is governed by its channel-specific terms.

Power Rack is not a subscription. Rackd does not intend recurring subscription access to be part of this upgrade model.

Discounts, Coupons, and Promotions

From time to time Rackd may offer promotional pricing on a purchase. Any such offer's terms, eligibility, and amount are shown to you at the time it is presented, and a discount only changes the price — it grants the same access as the applicable purchase. Promotions may be limited-time, limited to one use, or withdrawn at any time. If a discount is obtained through fraud or manipulation, the corresponding benefit is revoked.

Payment Processing

Payments are handled through the store or checkout shown for the applicable platform or account. The payment provider or store identified in that channel processes the transaction, and its terms, policies, and refund rules apply. Rackd does not handle payment information directly. An in-app store purchase and a web checkout may have different mechanics and refund routes; follow the channel-specific instructions shown at purchase.

Refunds

Refund handling depends on the channel where you purchased. Use the refund process shown by the applicable store or checkout. If you need help identifying the correct channel, email support@rackd.fitness and include the account and purchase details. Whether a refund is granted is governed by the applicable channel's published policies; Rackd does not process payment refunds outside the applicable store or provider.

If a Power Rack purchase is refunded or reversed through a payment dispute (chargeback), that purchase no longer provides Power Rack. This applies no matter who issues the refund, including the store or payment provider. Power Rack then ends on your account unless the account has another valid Power Rack purchase or grant. On a web checkout, a partial refund of a Power Rack purchase is handled as a full refund, and the rest of the payment is refunded too. If you have not yet used the custom program included with the refunded purchase, it is cancelled. If you already used it, you keep the program you got with it. Nothing you created is deleted: Power Rack features lock and your data stays.

Price Changes

We may change prices for new purchases at any time. Price changes do not affect already-completed one-time purchases (those stay yours forever at the price you paid).

9. Third-Party Services

Rackd depends on third-party services, including the applicable app store, the payment provider shown at checkout, Supabase, PostHog, and Cloudflare. Their terms and policies apply to your interactions with those services. We are not responsible for changes they make that affect Rackd, subject to applicable law.

10. Fitness and Health Disclaimer

Rackd is a tracking tool, not a coach. Nothing in Rackd is medical advice, professional fitness advice, or a substitute for either. See also the separate Liability Disclaimer which you accept when you accept these Terms.

• Consult a qualified medical professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have any health condition, are pregnant or postpartum, are recovering from injury, or have cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, or metabolic concerns
• The programs Rackd ships with are general-purpose templates. They are not designed for you specifically
• AI-generated programs are produced from the inputs you provide. The AI cannot see your form, recovery state, medications, or medical history. If you give it incorrect inputs, the program will be wrong
• Lifting heavy things carries risk. Use proper form, warm up appropriately, know your limits, and have a spotter when appropriate
• If something hurts, stop. If you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, joint pain, or any other symptom that concerns you, stop immediately and seek medical attention
• You assume responsibility for your choices when using Rackd, including whether to follow any program, AI-generated content, exercise instruction, or feature of the Service
• Use Rackd at your own discretion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fadhel Enterprises Inc., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, strain, illness, medical condition, disability, death, property damage, or other harm arising from or related to your use of Rackd

Use common sense. If you are not sure, ask a qualified coach, trainer, or doctor before using any program in Rackd.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• Any data stored on the Service will be preserved indefinitely
• The Service will be compatible with every device or OS version

This disclaimer applies except where applicable law does not allow such disclaimers, in which case our warranty is limited to the minimum required by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fadhel Enterprises Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the "Provider Parties") are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. This includes lost profits, lost data, lost business opportunities, personal injury, property damage, and similar damages, whether under contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

To the extent our liability cannot be excluded, the Provider Parties' total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of:

• The amount you have paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
• 100 Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

For users who have paid us nothing, the CAD $100 cap is the operative limit.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations above. If you are in one of those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fadhel Enterprises Inc. and the Provider Parties from any claim, demand, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

• Your breach of these Terms
• Your misuse of the Service
• Your violation of any law or third-party right
• Content you submit to the Service (if applicable)
• Any injury, illness, or other harm to yourself or to another person arising from your use of any program, AI-generated content, or feature of the Service

14. Termination

By You

You can stop using Rackd at any time by uninstalling the app (for the mobile app) or closing your browser (for the website). If you have an account, you can delete it from the app settings (see Section 4 for the 24-hour cooling-off window).

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:

• If you breach these Terms
• If your use creates a security risk or significantly degrades the Service for others
• If we're required to by law
• If we stop providing the Service entirely (we'll give reasonable notice in this case)

What Survives Termination

Sections 5 (Your Workout Data, as regards our license and ownership claims), 7 (Our IP), 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), 16 (Governing Law and Disputes), and this Section 14 survive termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top will change
• For material changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice via the app and/or email
• Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the new Terms

If you disagree with the new Terms, stop using the Service before they take effect.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Both parties waive the right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

17. Miscellaneous

Severability. If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in force.

No Waiver. If we don't enforce a right or provision, that doesn't mean we've waived it.

Assignment. You can't assign these Terms without our consent. We can assign them freely (for example, as part of a corporate restructuring).

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the AI Program Builder Terms (where applicable), are the complete agreement between you and us regarding the Service. They supersede any earlier agreements or understandings.

No Agency. Using Rackd does not make you our employee, agent, or partner, and it does not make us yours.

Notices. We may send notices to you via the app, by email (if you've provided one), or by posting on the rackd.fitness website. You can send us notices at support@rackd.fitness.
