Terms of Service

These are the terms you agree to when you use Rackd. We tried to make them readable. If something is unclear, email us at support@rackd.fitness and we'll explain it.

1. Who You're Agreeing With

Rackd is operated by Fadhel Solutions Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), an Ontario corporation. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you") and Fadhel Solutions Inc.

By installing the Rackd mobile app or using the rackd.fitness website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What Rackd Is

Rackd is a workout tracking app for strength athletes. It helps you follow structured training programs, log your lifts, and see your progress over time.

The Service includes:

• The Rackd mobile app (iOS and Android)
• The rackd.fitness website and web companion
• Any related services we provide from time to time

The Service does not include the training programs themselves. You are responsible for choosing and following a program that's appropriate for you (see Section 10: Fitness and Health Disclaimer).

3. Tiers, Trial, and Free Use

Rackd has two tiers:

• Half Rack (free, forever). The free tier. No nag screens, no upgrade pop-ups blocking your workouts. You can log lifts, browse all 448 built-in exercises, follow any of the built-in training programs, run AI-imported programs purchased on the web, and view 12 weeks of analytics history. Half Rack stays free for as long as Rackd exists.
• Power Rack ($49.99 one-time). The single paid tier. Unlocks the program builder, custom exercises, templates, full all-time history, Coach, advanced analytics, strength projections, muscle heatmaps, and Cloud Sync across up to 3 devices. Power Rack is a one-time purchase. Once you own it, you keep it.

Free Trial

New installs receive a 30-day free trial of paid features at first launch. After the 30 days, you enter a 14-day grace period where the app continues to work as before but shows soft prompts about upgrading or letting the trial expire.

When the grace period ends, the app drops to the Half Rack feature set. Your data stays. Custom programs, AI-generated programs, logged workouts, and personal records remain accessible. Locked features simply become locked until you purchase a tier.

Half Rack users do not receive a trial countdown or grace-period prompts. Half Rack is the free tier, not a trial.

Subscription (Optional)

In addition to the one-time Power Rack purchase, Rackd offers an optional monthly subscription that unlocks the same Power Rack feature set while active:

• Monthly: $2.99 / month

There is no yearly subscription. The subscription is sold only through Apple's App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). It is not available for purchase on the rackd.fitness website.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. On lapse, your tier reverts to Half Rack and your Cloud Sync stops at the end of a 14-day grace period. Local data on each paired device is unaffected.

The subscription costs more than owning Power Rack outright past about 17 months ($2.99 × 17 = $50.83 versus the one-time $49.99). It is there for lifters who prefer monthly billing. Most lifters won't pick it.

4. Your Account

You can use the Rackd mobile app without an account. Your workout data lives on your device.

To enable Cloud Sync, the web companion, or to restore purchases on a new device, you can create an account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. When you do:

• You're responsible for keeping your password secure
• You're responsible for activity under your account
• You must provide accurate information
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction)
• One account per person. No sharing, no selling.

If we have reason to believe your account has been compromised, we may suspend access until we can verify it's yours.

Cloud Sync Device Limit

Cloud Sync supports up to three (3) devices per account at any one time. Adding a fourth device requires removing one of the existing three from your account's device list. This limit applies only to Cloud Sync; you can read public website content from any number of devices without affecting the count.

Cloud Sync is included with Power Rack. It is not included in the 30-day free trial. Trial users can preview Cloud Sync UI but cannot register a sync device until they own Power Rack or hold an active subscription.

24-Hour Account Deletion Cooling-Off

When you request account deletion from Settings, we begin a 24-hour cooling-off window before any data is removed. During the window your account is marked for deletion but remains accessible, and you can cancel the deletion at any time from the same screen. After 24 hours, deletion executes automatically the next time the app reaches the deletion service. Local-only data on devices you own is not affected by account deletion. To remove local data, uninstall the app.

5. Your Workout Data

Your workout data is yours. You own what you put into Rackd.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your workout data only to the extent needed to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of it, we do not share it with third parties (except as described in the Privacy Policy), and we do not use it to train AI models.

Local-first means: the primary copy of your workout data lives on your device. If you delete the app, your local data is gone. If you've enabled Cloud Sync, a synced copy exists on our servers and you can delete that copy from your account.

Custom and AI-generated programs: programs you create yourself or generate with the AI Program Builder are yours. Once generated, they persist in your My Rack regardless of whether your trial expires or your subscription lapses. We do not republish them without your permission. (For the AI Program Builder specifically, see the separate AI Program Builder Terms.)

6. Acceptable Use

Use Rackd for its intended purpose. Don't:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except to the extent the law permits despite this restriction
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical protections, including tier gating, device limits, or trial enforcement
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service without our agreement
• Use the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure (such as automated rapid-fire API calls)
• Fabricate, spoof, or otherwise tamper with in-app purchase receipts to claim tiers, AI credits, or other paid features

If you violate these rules, we can suspend or terminate your access without notice.

AI Credits and Generation Packs

Rackd grants AI program-generation credits on the following events:

• Power Rack purchase (any variant): +1 credit, lifetime
• Trial entry (first authenticated launch): +1 credit
• Subscription purchase, renewal, or any other subscription event: 0 credits

Subscriptions never grant AI credits. Subscribers who want AI generation must either also buy Power Rack one-time (for the +1 lifetime credit) or buy a generation pack on the web.

You can also buy additional AI credits as one-time consumable packs sold on rackd.fitness:

• 1 generation pack: +1 credit
• 5 generation pack: +5 credits
• 15 generation pack: +15 credits

Generation packs are sold and processed on the rackd.fitness website by our web payment processor (Paddle), not through the App Store or Google Play. Consumable credits don't expire and don't auto-renew.

If credits are obtained through fabricated receipts, validation-flow abuse, or any other manipulation, we revoke them. Repeat or large-scale abuse means the account goes too.

7. Our Intellectual Property

The Rackd name, logo, app, website, design, source code, and the curated training programs we ship with the app (5/3/1 implementation, 5x5 Strength, PPL, Upper/Lower, and the others) are owned by Fadhel Solutions Inc. or our licensors.

You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as described in these Terms. That's it. No other rights are granted.

Traditional strength training program structures themselves (like the 5/3/1 method itself, or standard 5x5 progression) are not our IP. We implement them. The names of their creators (like Jim Wendler for 5/3/1) are their own trademarks. We do not claim ownership over their methodologies.

8. Purchases

One-Time Purchases

Power Rack is a one-time purchase. Once purchased, it is yours to keep. No recurring fees, no expiration. If you uninstall the app and reinstall later, restore purchases from Settings to get it back.

Power Rack is sold only through Apple's App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). It is not available for purchase on the rackd.fitness website.

Subscriptions

The monthly ($2.99) subscription unlocks the Power Rack feature set while active. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Apple and Google handle billing and renewal notices on our behalf. Subscriptions are sold only through the iOS or Android app via App Store and Google Play in-app purchase; they are not available on the rackd.fitness website.

Auto-renewal disclosure (Apple App Store and Google Play):

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the current period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the same price you initially paid, unless we notify you of a price change
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable

Discount Variants

Rackd offers discount variants of the Power Rack one-time purchase in two cases:

• Beta loyalty (50% off). Lifters who installed during the beta and connected an account before launch receive 50% off Power Rack, available through the in-app paywall.
• Referral discounts. Lifters who refer friends to install Rackd unlock referral rewards (see Section 8a).

Discount variants grant the same features and the same AI credits as the base SKU. The discount only changes the price. Discounts apply only to the Power Rack one-time purchase; they do not apply to the monthly subscription or to web-sold generation packs.

Section 8a: Referral Program

Refer friends to install Rackd. When they install through your referral link and complete first launch, you earn rewards at install milestones:

• 1 install: +30 days appended to your trial / grace period
• 2 installs: unlocks the 10% referral discount on Power Rack (r10 SKU variant)
• 3 installs: upgrades you to the 20% referral discount on Power Rack (r20 SKU variant)
• 5 installs: upgrades you to the 50% referral discount on Power Rack (r50 SKU variant)

Discount tiers are progressive: reaching a higher tier replaces the lower one. Referral rewards apply only to your account and are not transferable. We track installs by hashed device identifier; if a referred install is later determined to be fraudulent (self-referral, automated installs, refund abuse), the corresponding reward is revoked.

Payment Processing

In-app purchases of Power Rack and the monthly subscription are processed through Apple's App Store (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android). AI generation pack purchases on the rackd.fitness website are processed through our web payment processor, Paddle. We do not handle your payment information directly in either channel. The processor's terms, policies, and refund rules apply to purchases made through their platform.

Refunds

Refund handling depends on the channel where you purchased.

• In-app (Apple App Store): request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com
• In-app (Google Play): request refunds via the Google Play Store app or play.google.com
• Web (rackd.fitness AI generation packs): refund requests are handled by Paddle under their published buyer terms. Email support@rackd.fitness to start a refund request and we will route it.

Whether a refund is granted is at the relevant processor's discretion under their published refund policies. We don't process direct refunds outside our processors. If you've been charged in error or have a complaint we can help with, email support@rackd.fitness and we'll do what we can.

Price Changes

We may change prices for new purchases at any time. Price changes do not affect already-completed one-time purchases (those stay yours forever at the price you paid). For active subscriptions, we'll give at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect, in compliance with Apple and Google subscription policies.

9. Third-Party Services

Rackd depends on services provided by third parties, including Apple, Google, Paddle, Supabase, PostHog, and Cloudflare. Their terms and policies apply to your interactions with their services. We're not responsible for changes they make that affect Rackd (like Apple changing iOS SDK requirements, or Google changing Play Billing rules).

10. Fitness and Health Disclaimer

Rackd is a tracking tool, not a coach. Nothing in Rackd is medical advice, professional fitness advice, or a substitute for either. See also the separate Liability Disclaimer which you accept when you accept these Terms.

• Consult a qualified medical professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have any health condition, are pregnant or postpartum, are recovering from injury, or have cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, or metabolic concerns
• The programs Rackd ships with are general-purpose templates. They are not designed for you specifically
• AI-generated programs are produced from the inputs you provide. The AI cannot see your form, recovery state, medications, or medical history. If you give it incorrect inputs, the program will be wrong
• Lifting heavy things carries risk. Use proper form, warm up appropriately, know your limits, and have a spotter when appropriate
• If something hurts, stop. If you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, joint pain, or any other symptom that concerns you, stop immediately and seek medical attention
• You assume all risks associated with using Rackd, including any injury, strain, illness, disability, or death arising from your use of any program, AI-generated content, exercise instruction, or feature of the Service
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fadhel Solutions Inc., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, strain, illness, medical condition, disability, death, property damage, or other harm arising from or related to your use of Rackd

Use common sense. If you are not sure, ask a qualified coach, trainer, or doctor before using any program in Rackd.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• Any data stored on the Service will be preserved indefinitely
• The Service will be compatible with every device or OS version

This disclaimer applies except where applicable law does not allow such disclaimers, in which case our warranty is limited to the minimum required by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fadhel Solutions Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the "Provider Parties") are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. This includes lost profits, lost data, lost business opportunities, personal injury, property damage, and similar damages, whether under contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

To the extent our liability cannot be excluded, the Provider Parties' total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of:

• The amount you have paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
• 100 Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

For users who have paid us nothing, the CAD $100 cap is the operative limit.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations above. If you are in one of those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fadhel Solutions Inc. and the Provider Parties from any claim, demand, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

• Your breach of these Terms
• Your misuse of the Service
• Your violation of any law or third-party right
• Content you submit to the Service (if applicable)
• Any injury, illness, or other harm to yourself or to another person arising from your use of any program, AI-generated content, or feature of the Service

14. Termination

By You

You can stop using Rackd at any time by uninstalling the app (for the mobile app) or closing your browser (for the website). If you have an account, you can delete it from the app settings (see Section 4 for the 24-hour cooling-off window). Uninstalling the mobile app does not cancel an active subscription. To cancel a subscription, manage it in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:

• If you breach these Terms
• If your use creates a security risk or significantly degrades the Service for others
• If we're required to by law
• If we stop providing the Service entirely (we'll give reasonable notice in this case)

What Survives Termination

Sections 5 (Your Workout Data, as regards our license and ownership claims), 7 (Our IP), 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), 16 (Governing Law and Disputes), and this Section 14 survive termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top will change
• For material changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice via the app and/or email
• Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the new Terms

If you disagree with the new Terms, stop using the Service before they take effect.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Both parties waive the right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

17. Miscellaneous

Severability. If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in force.

No Waiver. If we don't enforce a right or provision, that doesn't mean we've waived it.

Assignment. You can't assign these Terms without our consent. We can assign them freely (for example, as part of a corporate restructuring).

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the AI Program Builder Terms (where applicable), are the complete agreement between you and us regarding the Service. They supersede any earlier agreements or understandings.

No Agency. Using Rackd does not make you our employee, agent, or partner, and it does not make us yours.

Notices. We may send notices to you via the app, by email (if you've provided one), or by posting on the rackd.fitness website. You can send us notices at support@rackd.fitness.
